Veathika

I am Veathika, a multimedia content creator, social media specialist and communications all-rounder. Working across TV, radio, print and digital with experience in India, UAE and Australia; my experience spans content development, social media, production, communication, SEO and MCing events for more than 19 years.

The beautiful city of Brisbane is currently home, where I work with Newscorp in their editorial department. Adelaide was where I first landed in Australia in 2019. The cosmopolitan city of Dubai was home for more than 13 years, where I have worked in a number of media houses including 7DAYS Newspaper, City 7 TV, whichschooladvisor.com and Reuters covering financial markets and business news for CGTN and other international TV channels.

In addition to my journalism work, I ran a video website or vlog – as they call it now, dubai-dates.com that had everything about the vibrant city of Dubai on video. Through the website, I have filmed, scripted and edited about 500 videos. It bagged the Best Asian Blogger award in the UAE by “Ahlan Masala” Magazine. It has now been renamed Vexplore on YouTube .

An avid reader, a passionate dancer and a very keen traveller, I have so far travelled to 73 countries. I am a firm believer in living life to the fullest and be it singing, dancing, pottery, pilates or paddleboarding (plus everything in between), I love anything and everything that ignites my creativity and excites my soul.

Studio

Vaya in Hindi means energy and the studio is all about channeling that energy in a creative way. The love for clay, the feel of earth and the desire to create something with our own hands is therapeutic and a large part of what we do and who we are.
